How I Can Support You

You might come to therapy if you are:

  • Navigating traume

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck

  • Experiencing difficulties in relationships

  • Struggling with self-worth or identity

  • Noticing repeating patterns you don’t fully understand

  • Navigating life transitions or change

Therapy offers space to pause, make sense of what’s happening, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

About Me

I’m Nina, a contemporary psychotherapist, EMDR practitioner and integrative coach, a former personal trainer, and a mother of two.

I care deeply about creating a therapeutic space where you feel safe, understood, and able to be yourself. I believe meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship, genuine curiosity, and compassionate support.

I’m passionate about helping people develop self-awareness, resilience, and a deeper connection to themselves — not just for today, but for the long term.

I am based in Sandwich, working with clients across Kent and online throughout the UK.

My Approach

My work is informed by contemporary psychotherapy and EMDR and shaped by the belief that therapy should adapt to the individual — not the other way around.

I work in a relational, collaborative way, taking time to truly listen and understand what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we explore the roots of your difficulties and identify new ways of responding that feel supportive and sustainable.

Sessions may include EMDR, reflective conversation alongside body-aware, nervous-system-informed awareness. Where helpful, I may encourage gentle reflection or experimentation between sessions to support ongoing change.

Therapy with me is not only about processing difficulty, but also about noticing progress, celebrating growth, and embedding lasting change.

What I offer:

Psychotherapy

A flexible, relational approach informed by contemporary psychotherapy. Therapy adapts to you, supporting emotional regulation, deeper understanding of patterns, and meaningful change aligned with your values and wellbeing.

Coaching

A practical, future-focused approach supporting clarity, confidence, and action. Coaching helps you set goals, develop strategies, and create momentum in your everyday life.

EMDR

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps people process traumatic or distressing experiences that may still be affecting their day-to-day life. It supports the brain’s natural healing process, allowing memories to feel less overwhelming and more integrated.

EMDR can be helpful for trauma, anxiety and distressing memories, and is always offered in a way that prioritises safety, choice and emotional regulation.

EMDR therapy will be offered as part of my ongoing professional training and under appropriate clinical supervision.

If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to book a 15–20 minute introductory call and we can explore what feels most supportive for you.
